Mark Mangino interview discussing Kansas, Iowa State, Big 12, and the College Football Playoff

No one knows and loves the Big 12 like Mark Mangino. He spent time on the staffs at Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Iowa State, and the highlight was his run as the head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks, helping turn around that program into 2007 Orange Bowl Champs.

It was a fascinating discussion with Coach Mangino about how he built up the Jayhawks program, why he takes the blame for his brief tenure at Iowa State, and how he would like to see the Big 12 grow moving forward. Plus, he is a fan of the BCS! And when it comes to what’s next for Mangino, he did say and explain why he “would be willing to coach again.”
