Kansas tries to ‘camouflage’ a kick returner vs. Iowa State

Nov 13 2016

When you’ve struggled as mightily as the Kansas Jayhawks have the past few seasons, you’ll try just about anything… like this camouflage trick play during a kick off return.

Kansas’s wide receiver LaQuvionte Gonzalez hid lying down in the end zone and then caught a pass during the return on a lateral and advanced the ball to about the 35-yard line. It didn’t work to perfect, but not a bad showing.

TCU actually tried this a couple years ago with a bit more success.
