The Sooners are looking for revenge following last season’s 45-24 loss at home. The good news for OU: in this series, the two teams have met three times, and the road team has won every game.
The Sooners are 1-2 all-time against Ohio State, with the loss coming in 1977 when Barry Switzer’s Sooners beat Ohio State 29-28.
Both teams should be ranked in the top 10 in the preseason polls this season, and both return starting quarterbacks in Baker Mayfield and J.T. Barrett, who each led their teams to New Year’s Six bowls in 2016.
As if we needed another reason to beg college football to come back already, getting things like the kick off time for this game has me Jonesing!
