The Red Raiders host Arkansas at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, their first regular-season game against an SEC opponent since 2003 (a 49-45 win at Mississippi, which also marked the last time Tech played a power-conference team in the regular season).

Here’s a quick scouting report of the Razorbacks:

Record: 1-1 (0-1 in SEC play)

Last: Beat Nicholls State, 73-7

Key number: 25. The number of passing touchdowns allowed last year by the Hogs, which were second to last in the SEC in that category.

Offense: Multiple

Defense: 4-3

The Hogs went winless in the SEC last year for the first time since their inaugural season in 1992. Last week’s 73-7 win over Nicholls State snapped a program-worst 10-game losing streak.
