Timely turnovers make up for poor offensive performance from Longhorns

The scoreboard reflected a relatively comfortable victory for the Longhorns Saturday, but Texas’ was far from dominant in its 23-0 win over Kansas.

If it weren’t for a few clutch turnovers, the Longhorns could have easily been on the losing end of a huge upset in Lawrence, Kan.

Quandre Diggs came up with an interception in the end zone in the first quarter, Duke Thomas picked off a Hail Mary in the end zone to end the first half and the Texas defense forced a three-and-out inside its own 10-yard line in the third quarter.
