Oklahoma State rode into Morgantown, W.Va., last season with a three-game win streak and No. 11 national ranking. The Cowboys rode out dejected with a 30-21 loss.
The two schools meet again Saturday in a different venue with plenty of new faces on each side. But for at least one Cowboy, the memory of that upset loss still resonates.
“There’s nothing more motivating than your own failure,” OSU linebacker Ryan Simmons said.
