Baylor Bears

11/21 Morning Headlines

Despite holding K-State to 1 yard rushing, it wasn’t the Senior Night that the Mountaineers wanted against the Wildcats.

… and as the Charleston Daily Mail’s Chuck McGill points out, November isn’t treating the Mountaineers well.

As for #12 K-State … Bill Snyder was not happy with the win.

Elsewhere, after the 2015 schedule came out on Wednesday, OU coach Bob Stoops has a change of heart in regards to when the Bedlam game should be played.

Also, here’s an interesting piece by The Oklahoman’s Ryan Aber, highlighting OU DC Mike Stoops … Does yelling at players work?

The Kansas coaching search continues, and AD Sheahon Zenger is getting plenty of assistance.

On the field… a good story on freshman Apa Visinia Jr. and how he’s pay off nicely for KU’s offensive line.

Texas Tech can’t reach a bowl game … so for the rest of the season, the priorities have changed.

Tech is in Ames this weekend, and despite the Iowa State defense playing horribly this season, Des Moines Register’s Randy Peterson doesn’t want to point the finger at defensive coordinator Wally Burnham.

In Stillwater … the Cowboys need somebody, anybody to step up at QB – like Brandon Weeden did years ago.

And when it rains it pours for the Pokes … losing a 4 star cornerback commitment.

As for Saturday, the Cowboys have to head into Waco and face Baylor, without knowing who’s starting at quarterback.
