Redshirt sophomore WR Dallis Todd leaves Oklahoma program

It has been confirmed by a couple of different outlets that wide receiver Dallis Todd has left the Oklahoma football program.

The reaction on twitter was a combination of disappointment and content.

Todd suffered a neck injury during the spring and missed most of spring ball and consequently would have started training camp down the depth chart.

He caught one pass for nine yards and played in six games last year.

Unfortunately, wide receiver is not a deep position for the Sooners, so he would have been given ample opportunities. He would’ve been a good backup to Dede Westbrook. Ultimately, Tood was an impressive prospect – big, solid speed and skilled – but he never put it all together.
