In the third quarter of the Baylor-Oklahoma game in Norman, Bears QB Seth Russell scrambled out of the pocket and after being hit by Sooners linebacker Caleb Kelly, suffered a gruesome leg injury.

This injury comes almost exactly a year after undergoing season-ending neck surgery and Russell’s season and Baylor career is most likely over.
As he was getting help from trainers and being taken off the field, there was clearly a ton of respect from the Oklahoma players.

Russell was carted off the field and the Bears announced that their QB suffered a dislocated ankle and will undergo X-rays.

Russell had thrown for 19 touchdowns this season to 6 interceptions with 1978 yards. On the ground he had 82 carries for 436 yards with 8 touchdowns.
