The last thing the Red Raiders need is a loss on defense, but unfortunately, that’s the news they got on Thursday.
Sophomore defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko announced on Twitter his decision to transfer from Texas Tech.

Fehoko ended last season with 19 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 5 QB hurries.
Fehoko was one of the biggest recruiting grabs on defense in Kliff Kingsbury’s tenure. He chose Tech over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Stanford.
He started as a true freshman and played in every game this past season.
While he may not have been living up to expectations, this one stings for Kingsbury and defensive coordinator David Gibbs, but all the best to Fehoko going forward and hopefully it’s the right decision for himself and his family.
