Kansas- WR Daylon Charlot
Anytime Nick Saban says something positive about you that should be one of the highest praises you can ask for as a football player. That’s exactly what happened when Daylon Charlot decided to transfer from Alabama to Kansas. Saban basically said that he wished that Daylon would have stayed longer at Alabama because he knew just how talented the former top 100 recruit was. Even though he only caught two passes in his freshman season back in 2015, Nick Saban obviously saw the potential for this young man. Not only will Charlot make his Jayhawk debut this season, he spent the entire 2016 season learning David Beaty’s system. This will allow Charlot to think less and play more heading into 2017 and that will pay dividends for the Jayhawks. He showed some flashes in the spring game and I fully expect him to lead the way to be the primary playmaker on this Kansas offense.
