NCAA Football: Iowa State at Texas Tech

As we get closer to Big 12 media days, the conference has announced which players will be accompanying their respective coaches next week in Frisco, Texas. A reminder: Heartland College Sports will be on the scene to cover the event so find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for all the latest news and information!

A few reactionary thoughts:

  • I can’t believe Bill Snyder is bringing two quarterbacks. Very un-Bill Snyder like by creating this kind of drama in a QB race by bringing both to media days. He must have complete confidence and trust in both.
  • Look at the players Kansas is bringing. On skill alone, that’s a very solid foursome that you would not think is part of a 3-33 program over the past three seasons.
  • Not having the Oklahoma QB at Big 12 media days is a little weird.
  • No QB in town for the Longhorns, as expected. Tom Herman will say he has two QBs, but you know the old saying, does that really mean he has no QBs?
  • Gary Patterson is the only coach to bring more than four players.
  • If I told you one year ago Kyle Kempt is in Frisco representing Iowa State, how insane would you think I am?

Can’t wait for next week!
