The Davey O’Brien Award, named for the former TCU quarterback and given to the nation’s best quarterback, saw just two Big 12 quarterbacks make the watch list on Tuesday.

On Monday, other Big 12 players were named to the first two award watch lists of the summer.

The Maxwell Award is given to the College Player of the Year. Last year’s winner was Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield.
