Fox Sports’ Nick Swisher Loves Himself Some Texas Tech Baseball

The Texas Tech Red Raiders picked up a big 3-2 win over the first place Baylor Bears on Friday night in the second game of a three-game series. Thursday night the Red Raiders lost 11-10.
Friday night’s win for Texas Tech came in comeback fashion. The Red Raiders were down 2-1 heading into the eighth inning, but Gabe Holt’s bases loaded walk tied the game. Then in the 9th inning, Cody Masters picked up his second hit of the night and drove in Josh Jung on an RBI single to win the game in walk-off fashion 3-2.
After the win, the Fox Sports Baseball crew, led by Kevin Burkhardt, was coming back from a commercial break and former big leaguer Nick Swisher professed his love for Texas Tech baseball and their win on Friday night.

For the record, Nick Swisher played his college ball at Ohio State, but if he’s jumping on the Texas Tech bandwagon, maybe the Red Raiders season will start to turn around? Tech is 7-7 in Big 12 play and in fourth place behind Baylor, Oklahoma State and TCU.
Texas Tech wraps up the series with Baylor on Saturday before another big three-game set next weekend against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
