AP Poll Week 8: Oklahoma, Baylor Rise, Texas Drops

NCAA Football: Texas Christian at Baylor

As we hit the heart of the college football season, Big 12 teams were on the move in this week’s AP Poll. The Oklahoma Sooners picked up a huge win over Texas in the Red River Rivalry, and with the Georgia loss to South Carolina, OU moved up one spot to No. 5 this week.

Meantime, Texas dropped four spots to No. 15. After Baylor barely got by Texas Tech in double overtime to remain undefeated and get to 6-0, the Bears moved up four spots to No. 22. Also creeping back near the Top 25 is Iowa State, currently the team with the second-most votes outside of the rankings.
