Baylor Linebacker Clay Johnston Out for Season with Knee Injury

The Baylor Bears defense took a huge blow in Saturday’s double-overtime win over Texas Tech. Linebacker Clay Johnston went down with an injury during the game and according to reports on Sunday, Johnston will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

— Pete Thamel (@PeteThamel) October 13, 2019Johnston was on pace for a career season with 58 tackles (35 solo), 2.5 sacks and one interception. Prior to his injury on Saturday he had 10 tackles against the Red Raiders.
The Bears are 6-0 and are up to No. 18 in the AP Poll. Baylor travels to take on Oklahoma State next week.
