AP Poll Week 9: Iowa State Joins OU, Texas, Baylor in Top 25

NCAA Football: Texas Christian at Baylor

The Big 12 now has four teams ranked in the Top 25 after the Week 9 poll came out on Sunday. The Iowa State Cyclones are once again ranked after a dominant win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock. Iowa State is now 10-0 in the month of October dating back to the 2017 season.

Meantime, the Oklahoma Sooners stayed put at No. 5 after thrashing West Virginia on Saturday in Norman. Also, some thought Texas might drop a spot, but it was the Longhorns holding steady at No. 15 after needing a last-second drive to beat the lowly Kansas Jayhawks in Austin, TX.

The biggest mover of the weekend in the Big 12 was the Baylor Bears, who went on the road and beat Oklahoma State, and jumped four spots from No. 18 to No. 14 after staying undefeated at 7-0.
