Jimmy Fallon Throws Support Behind Texas Before Playing Kansas State

I’m not sure how many fans Jimmy Fallon had in Manhattan, Kansas to begin with, but let’s just say he probably lost whatever support he has left. That’s because Fallon was apparently in Austin, Texas in recent days and then put this note up on Twitter hours before the Longhorns were set to take on the Kansas State Wildcats.
Okay @TexasFootball, I left some energy floating around in Austin. Find it and use it if you need to today. To get it just say Texas (fight) and throw in a Fallon (tonight). I’ll be watching. Hook ‘em. 🤘#ThisIsTexas #HookEm #FallonAtUT

The Longhorns enter the game struggling, having lost two of three, and the one win was a last-second victory against Kansas.
So I guess UT is looking for some good mojo from Jimmy Fallon, but isn’t that Matthew McConaughey’s job as the minister of culture? Sounds like McConaughey is not carrying his load. Time to get him off the payroll?
Texas hosts Kansas State at 2:30 on Saturday.
