College GameDay Heading to Waco for Baylor vs. Oklahoma

NCAA Football: Michigan at Ohio State

College GameDay is heading to a Big 12 campus for a third time during the 2019 season. Baylor confirmed that the ESPN show will be heading to Waco, Texas next Saturday, November 16th, when the Bears host the Oklahoma Sooners.

This is the third time College GameDay will be in Waco. The show was there in 2014 for Baylor hosting Kansas State, a game the Bears won 38-27. Then, they were there in 2015, when Baylor hosted Oklahoma, a game the Sooners won 44-34.

This season, College GameDay was in Austin, Texas for the Texas vs. LSU game and then Iowa State landed its first-ever College GameDay when the Cyclones hosted Iowa earlier this season.

To think about where Baylor was two to three years ago in the wake of the sexual assault scandal that rocked the football program, the firing of Art Briles, the interim hire of Jim Grobe to then working through a one-win season in Matt Rhule’s first season, it’s been quite a rise from the ashes.

It should be a rocking atmosphere in Waco next weekend and I hope the Baylor faithful put on a good showing.
