AP Poll Week 15: Oklahoma, Baylor Rise, Iowa State, Oklahoma State Fall

NCAA Football: Texas Christian at Baylor

With the final weekend of the college football regular season in the books, there was more movement in the AP Poll after two top ten teams (Alabama, Minnesota) went down. For the Big 12, which saw a couple of upsets over the weekend, there were teams on the climb and fall as well.

After beating Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Saturday night, the Oklahoma Sooners move up one spot to No. 6. Meantime, Baylor smoked Kansas in Lawrence and jumped three spots to No. 8. This sets up No. 6 vs. No. 8 in the Big 12 Championship Game. Either team is set up for a great win to add to the resume.

Meantime, after Iowa State was upset by Kansas State, the Cyclones fell out of the Top 25, but the Wildcats did not get into the Top 25. Also, Oklahoma State fell out of the Top 25. The Wildcats and Cyclones both received 36 votes, the second-most votes of teams not ranked. Iowa State received five votes.

Here’s a full look at the Top 25 heading into the week.
