Lincoln Riley Mum on Suspensions Carrying Into 2020 Season

Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley addressed the media on Wednesday to discuss a variety of issues. One of the issues to come up surrounded the suspension of some key players who missed the team’s College Football Playoff game.
Ronnie Perkins, Rhamondre Stevenson and Trejan Bridges all missed the game.
But will their suspensions last into next season, Riley didn’t exactly answer the question, saying, “the process is ongoing.”

Riley went on to say he was not all that surprised by eight Sooners who have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal since the 2019 season ended, saying, “We did see it coming.”
Thanks to Riley’s press conference, it’s starting to feel like spring practice is right around the corner. But there is still some time, and OU will play its spring game on Saturday, April 18th.
