Spencer Rattler, Sam Ehlinger Near Top of 2020 Heisman Odds, Two Oklahoma State Players Also Make List

We still are unsure what a 2020 college football season is going to look like, but with that being said, the Vegas oddsmakers are moving on like business as usual. And for those of us salivating for some sports, that’s a relief.
In the 2020 Heisman race, most people believe there are two clear frontrunners in Ohio State QB Justin Fields and Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence.
But after that, it’s anyone’s game, and that’s where two Big 12 quarterbacks find themselves on the list. Despite the fact that Spencer Rattler has only played a handful of snaps in his career at OU, the former five-star prospect has the third-best odds in America to win the Heisman Trophy. He can thank his head coach, Lincoln Riley, who churns out Heisman finalists like it’s his job. Meantime, Texas QB Sam Ehlinger shows up as third on the list.
Lastly, but not to be forgotten, Oklahoma State RB Chuba Hubbard is showing up on the preseason list, but as we highlighted on the site last week, Hubbard has an uphill climb. And his signal caller, Spencer Sanders, is also on the list.
Here’s a full rundown from Bret McMurphy.
