Oklahoma State Football Players Deny Doug Gottlieb’s Accusations in Program Requests
The drama in Stillwater heads into Day Two and this time multiple players are upset with FOX Sports Radio’s Doug Gottlieb. Gottlieb is an Oklahoma State alum who has close ties to the program.
On Tuesday afternoon, Gottlieb tweeted out that Gundy has met several demands and cultural changes for the Oklahoma State football team.
Well, this tweet did not sit well with several of the team’s prominent players.
Defensive back Tre Sterling simply tweeted a short clip of him looking confused and annoyed at the camera.
Star wide receiver Tylan Wallace was a little more forthright.
Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, who was one of the first to support Chuba Hubbard yesterday, also chimed in saying the “entirety” was not true.
However Gottlieb has not backed down, and in fact is standing by any rules along these lines that a coach might have for his program. He specifically cited his own experience playing … at Oklahoma State, for coach Sutton.
