Oklahoma State Lands Key Commitment

NCAA Football: Oklahoma State at Central Michigan

It certainly has been one interesting offseason for the Oklahoma State Cowboys this season but today was a great day for the football program. Just a little while ago, Oklahoma State received a commitment from offensive/defensive lineman Aden Kelley out of Thomas, Oklahoma.

In case you do not know, Thomas, Oklahoma is home to just a little over 1,200 people and it is always great to see these small-town kids get big opportunities. Aden is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports and is a top five hundred player nationally.

Even though he is listed as both and offensive line and defensive line prospect, Aden told me that the Cowboys want him on the defensive side of the ball. He also told me that his biggest factor in choosing Oklahoma State was that “It is close to home and they have a great staff.”

With the commitment, the Cowboys now have twelve commits for the 2021 class as they rank forty-fifth nationally.
