Four Big 12 Teams Ranked in Preseason USA Today Coaches Poll
It always starts to feel like the college football season is right around the corner when the USA Today Coaches Poll gets released. And it was released this week with four Big 12 teams ranked in the Top 25.
The Clemson Tigers came in first place, convincingly over Ohio State, followed by Alabama, Georgia, LSU and then the Oklahoma Sooners at No. 6. OU was followed by Penn State, Florida, Oregon and Notre Dame.
Other Big 12 teams ranked in the Top 25 included Texas at No. 14, Oklahoma State at No. 16, and Iowa State rounding out the Top 25 at No. 25.

Of course with no non-conference games, it’s not clear how these polls should or will significantly moving forward. But either way, in a year of uncertainly, it feels nice to have some certainly like a Coaches Poll being released.
