Oklahoma Leads Four Big 12 Teams Ranked in the AP Poll

NCAA Football: Iowa State at Oklahoma

The 2020 college football preseason AP Poll has been released with four Big 12 teams ranked in the Top 25.

Granted, the AP Poll was done as if all the college football conferences are going to be playing this fall. We know that is not the case, as the Big Ten and Pac-12 are not playing, and some of the lower-level conferences are also skipping a fall season.

However, in the preseason poll, the Oklahoma Sooners lead the Big 12 at No. 5, the Texas Longhorns are No. 14, with Oklahoma State coming in at No. 15, and last but not least, the Iowa State Cyclones come in at No. 23 and Baylor received votes.

This almost mirrors the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll where the same four Big 12 teams were also ranked.

Now without non-conference games, it will be interesting to see how much this changes as the season progresses, but for now, let’s enjoy the fact that we have an AP Poll to debate and talk about as we get closer towards a season.

Here’s the full AP Poll.
