Week 3 Big 12 Kick Off Times, TV Schedule Released

The Big 12 has released its kick off times and television schedule for the Week 3 Big 12 football action, which is also the start of conference play.
Saturday, September 26th
Oklahoma vs. Kansas State, 11 a.m., FOX
TCU vs. Iowa State, 12:30 p.m., FOX Sports 1
Oklahoma State vs. West Virginia, 2:30 p.m., ABC or ESPN
Texas Tech vs. Texas, 2:30 p.m., FOX
Baylor vs. Kansas, 6:30 p.m., ESPNU
*All times listed in CST
I love the start to conference play for the Big 12. The games are well spread out and the 12:30 p.m. kick off time is really interesting on FOX Sports 1 as it gives solid crossover for the game as it won’t be finishing the same time as all the other 11 a.m. CST games. I hope that the TV networks, without the Pac-12 and maybe Big Ten, will spread out kick off times like this moving forward.
The most interesting games in Week 1 are Iowa State at TCU and Oklahoma State vs. West Virginia. Those will be two games that tell us the most next week in terms of how the Big 12 season will shape up moving forward. Iowa State had a massively disappointing loss to Lousiana this past weekend and tumbled all the way down to No. 9 on our Power Rankings. While WVU had a solid win, but it was against an FCS opponent in Eastern Kentucky, so we will find out how improved this team really is when they go to Stillwater next week.
But regardless, conference play is back!
