Week 5 Big 12 Kick Off Times, TV Schedule Released

The Big 12 has released its kick off times and television schedule for the Week 4 Big 12 football action, which is also the start of conference play.
Saturday, October 10th
Texas vs. Oklahoma, 11 a.m. (FOX)
Iowa State vs. Texas Tech, 2:30 p.m. (ABC)
TCU vs. Kansas State, 3:00 (FOX)
*All times listed in CST
It’s a lighter week for the Big 12 next week, and while this is a solid slate, I’ve also been saying for weeks we should’ve had the Red River Rivalry played at night. It’s 2020, everything is screwed up, so why not? There will be limited fans in attendance, less chance of drunken OU and Texas fans going at it. Give us the Red River Rivalry at night! Oh well.
The other two games would probably be on ESPNU if college football was fully back, but now we get Iowa State and Texas Tech on ABC and TCU vs. Kansas State on FOX. Heck, if K-State beats Texas Tech this weekend and TCU upsets Texas, then this could end up being a Top 25 match up in the Big 12 Conference next week.
While there’s no night game, I’m understanding of it, based on what the options are for the conference.
