AP Poll: Sooners Back in Top 25, With Oklahoma State Leading the Way

The latest AP Poll has four Big 12 teams ranked in the Top 25 after the Oklahoma Sooners find themselves back in the rankings.

OU is coming off a win on the road against TCU, where both sides of the ball were dominant in victory. Meantime, at the top of the rankings, the Oklahoma State Cowboys stay at No. 6 in the AP Poll after their 24-21 win over Iowa State. As for the Cyclones, they fell six slots to No. 23.

Meantime, the Kansas State Wildcats, after rolling the Kansas Jayhawks 55-14, moved up four spots to No. 16 in the country.

The only other team to receive any votes in the Big 12 was the Texas Longhorns, who beat the Baylor Bears 27-16 on Saturday in Austin.

With the Big Ten Conference back in action and the Pac-12 coming back in two weeks, it’s expected we will see more changes than we’ve seen in recent weeks, where Big Ten teams were staying ranked while not playing any games. Thankfully, those days after over!
