Baker Mayfield Trolls Oklahoma State During First Half of Bedlam

NCAA Football: Oklahoma Pro Day

The Bedlam match up between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State on Saturday night didn’t get off to an ideal start for the Cowboys, and a former nemesis was right there to remind them of that.

Former Oklahoma Sooners QB and Heisman winner Baker Mayfield was watching the game on Saturday night and when the Sooners took a 21-0 first half lead, Mayfield jumped on social media and made sure to troll the Pokes.

Mayfield flashes to the 21-0 score and says, “21-0 first quarter?! Oh Pokes, you must be big mad again. Just another year! It’s alright. Maybe next year. Probably not though.”

Here’s the video.

Oklahoma has owned the Pokes as of late. Oklahoma State last beat the Sooners in 2014 when Tyreek Hill infamously took a punt return back for the go-ahead score. And despite all of Mike Gundy’s success in Stillwater, he is 2-13 against the in-state rivals.

Mayfield dominated the Cowboys during his three seasons in Norman. In 2015, Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State 58-23. The next season it was OU rolling 38-20, which was capped off by a 62-52 win in 2017.
