Kickoff Times Finally Announced for Big 12 Games on December 5th

NCAA Football: Western Kentucky at Wisconsin

The Big 12 football schedule was in a state of flux for its Week 13 games as the TV networks were holding out to wait on last week’s results before deciding on kick off times for this week.

Well, we finally have some answers as kick off times started to roll out Sunday night.

Big 12 Week 13 TV schedule and kick off times

TCU vs. Oklahoma State, 11:00 a.m., ESPN2

Kansas State vs. Texas, 11:00 a.m., FOX

Texas Tech vs. Kansas, 11:00 a.m. FOX Sports 2

No. 13 Iowa State vs. West Virginia, 2:30 p.m., ESPN

Oklahoma vs. Baylor, 7:00 p.m., FOX

*All times in CST

Three 11:00 a.m. kick offs?! Oof. Had Texas beaten Iowa State, then the K-State-Texas game would probably be flipped with Iowa State-West Virginia. But its the Cyclones who are in the driver’s seat in the Big 12 Conference, so they’ve earned the later time slot this weekend, in what should be a very good game against the Mountaineers.

Frankly, I think Iowa State vs. West Virginia is more worthy of a prime time game than Oklahoma vs. Baylor. I understand the Sooners are a national brand who gets eye balls, but as a Big 12 purist, the better game with more intriguing storylines is Iowa State coming off their huge win against Texas having to welcome in a rested West Virginia team that brings in the best defense in the Big 12. Breece Hall and Brock Purdy against the WVU defense? Sign me up.

But hey, I’m just a writer and podcaster… however if the Big 12/ESPN/FOX wants to hire me to help with their TV scheduling, I’m all ears, guys!
