No. 1 2021 WR Emeka Egbuka to Select Oklahoma, Ohio State or Washington on Friday

NCAA Football: Oklahoma at Baylor

The No. 1 wide receiver in the Class of 2021 will pick between the Oklahoma Sooners, Ohio State and Washington this week. Emeka Egbuka of Steilacoom, Washington will announce his decision on Friday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. PST.

Earlier this year, Egbuka cut Clemson from his list, and focused on the three previously mentioned. He made this announcement on Tuesday.

Emeka Egbuka visited Norman last weekend and watched the Sooners beat the Baylor Bears 27-14 on Saturday. According to 247Sports, he was also able to have a throwing session with Oklahoma quarterback commit Caleb Williams on the visit. 247Sports reports that Egbuka has also been throwing with Washington quarterback commit Sam Huard, as both are from the state of Washington.

As the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the country per 247Sports, Emeka Egbuka is a consensus five-star and ranks as the No. 8 prospect nationally.

In the Class of 2019, the Oklahoma Sooners landed the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the country in Jadon Haselwood, the No. 3 wide receiver in Theo Wease and No. 11 wide receiver Trejan Bridges.

No doubt, Lincoln Riley and his staff will be taking a break from preparations for the West Virginia game to see if they can land Egbuka to give a lift to their recruiting class. OU is currently ranked No. 1 in the Big 12 and No. 11 in the nation, per 247Sports.
