Twitter Destroys Kansas State for Loss to Fort Hays State

NCAA Basketball: Georgia at Kansas State

The Kansas State Wildcats lost to Division II Fort Hays State on Tuesday night 81-68. In what was expected to be a tough year for Bruce Weber’s team, this is still as brutal of a loss as a program can endure; especially since it wasn’t even close.

The Wildcats added Fort Hays to the schedule, who entered the game 0-3, and K-State trailed by as many as 21 points. Oh, and who were those three losses this season to? Washburn, Emporia State, and Nebraska-Kearney. Fort Hays shot 55% from the field and outrebounded Kansas State by eight points in this loss.

Needless to say, Twitter had a lot of fun with this after the loss. Here are some of the highlights (or lowlights?) from media personalities, and fans, alike.

Kansas State probably can’t wait to get back on the court, which they’ll do Friday at home when they take on Milwaukee. This should be a winnable game. Then again, so was Fort Hays State. Tip off on Friday is set for 7:00 p.m.
