Oklahoma State WR Tylan Wallace to Play in Cheez-It Bowl

Oklahoma State fans may not have seen the last of Tylan Wallce in a Cowboys uniform.
According to FOX23’s Luke Slabaugh, Wallace plans to practice and play with the Cowboys against No. 18 Miami in the Cheez-It Bowl on December 29th.
Wallace played sparingly down the home stretch of the season. He missed the second half of the second-to-last game against TCU with an undisclosed knee injury and missed last game of the season when the Pokes blasted Baylor 42-3.
Wallace still led the Big 12 Conference with 877 yards on 53 catches and was a First-Team All-Big 12 selection.
Wallace has dealt with injuries throughout his career, including the second half of the 2019 season with a torn ACL. But he returned in 2020, along with star running back Chuba Hubbard, and gave the Cowboys high expectations heading into the season.
The Cowboys did finish the 2020 campaign with a 7-3 overall record, and 6-3 in Big 12 play, however not reaching the Big 12 Championship Game was considered a letdown by many in Stillwater.
Tylan Wallace and the Oklahoma State Cowboys will take on the Miami Hurricanes in the Camping World Bowl from Orlando Florida on Tuesday, December 29th at 4:30 p.m. CST.
