TCU linebacker Garret Wallow became the latest Big 12 player to accept an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, which will give him an opportunity to work with NFL coaches and be seen by NFL scouts for an entire week next month.
As a senior in 2020 Wallow ended up with 90 total tackles (50 solo, 40 assists), 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 5 quarterback hurries and a pass break-up. That led to his selection to All-Big 12 First-Team honors by the league’s coaches for the second straight season.

In 2019 Wallow as named an Honorable Mention All-American by Phil Steele, along with All-Big 12 First team by the coaches and by the Associated Press. He led the Big 12 with 125 tackles, the fourth-best output in a single season during the Gary Patterson era. Wallow also tied for ninth nationally at 10.4 tackles per game and had a team-best 18.0 tackles for loss.
For his four-year career at TCU, Wallow had 295 total tackles (177 solo, 118 assists), 32.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and 1 interception.
Several other Big 12 players have accepted Senior Bowl invitations at this time, including Oklahoma cornerback Tre Brown, Oklahoma State cornerback Rodarius Williams, Texas defensive end Ta’Quan Graham, Kansas State defensive end Wyatt Hubert, Baylor edge rusher William Bradley-King, West Virginia linebacker Tony Fields II, Texas Tech guard/center Jack Anderson, Oklahoma State tackle Teven Jenkins, Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger and Oklahoma State wide receiver Tylan Wallace.
