The Iowa State Cyclones continue to reload for the 2021 season as it was announced that Charlie Kolar and Greg Eisworth would return.
Kolar made the announcement Sunday morning on Twitter.
Kolar is a two-time All-American selection and for his career has 1,425 receiving yards on 106 receptions, plus 18 touchdowns. Kolar is a two-time First-Team All-Big 12 selection by the coaches. He will return as one of the best tight end duos in America, along with Chase Allen, who announced his decision to return in 2021 as well.
Meantime, here was the return of safety Greg Eisworth.
Eisworth has started 16 straight games in during the 2020 season he totaled 47 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups and an interception. Eisworth came to Iowa State via Trinity Valley C.C in Texas with the Class of 2018 as a three-star JUCO recruit. Eisworth picked Iowa State over offers from Colorado, Colorado State and West Virginia.
The Cyclones are coming off a historic season where they reached the Big 12 Championship Game and won the Fiesta Bowl. Kolar and Eisworth join Brock Purdy and Mike Rose, who also announced they would be returning for the 2021 campaign.
