Matt Campbell Responds on News of More Returning Players

The Iowa State Cyclones got more great news on Sunday when it was announced that Charlie Kolar and Greg Eisworth would be returning for the 2021 season.

The Cyclones are coming off a historic season where they reached the Big 12 Championship Game and won the Fiesta Bowl. Kolar and Eisworth join Brock Purdy and Mike Rose, who also announced they would be returning for the 2021 campaign.

Well, Matt Campbell is already fired up about next season as he reacted to the news on social media. This is rare as the coach tweets about once per month, if that.

So grateful for the commitment of so many to continue to want to build our program together. Our foundation has been built on Loyalty and Faithfulness and it will continue to be our guiding light. Humbled and Grateful to continue to lead to be different.

This also comes one day after reports started surfacing that he might an interview with the New York Jets. However, the report was then shot down by the Des Moines Register.
