Baylor and Kansas took the court on Big Monday and the game wasn’t really in question after the first few minutes of the game as the Bears took a dominant lead and never looked back.
But for those sports bettors out there, the game got down the final few minutes as the Bears were a nine-point favorite. Well in the waning moments, with Kansas down by 11, Chris Teahan threw up a half court heave and drained it as Kansas went on to lose by eight (77-69) instead of the 11-point margin, which means the Kansas +9 crowd turned out to be a winner.
But if you look closely, you can tell at least one Baylor fan clearly had the Bears and the nine points. As Scott Van Pelt noted after the game by sharing the video, watch it again and keep an eye on the guy in the bottom right of the screen, sitting courtside, with a white shirt.
There’s no doubt he was all in on the Bears -9. We just hope it wasn’t a mortgage payment!
