Two Bedlam Match Ups Scheduled in Three-Day Window

After Bedlam had to be postponed last weekend due to COVID-19, the make up date means that Bedlam will be played twice in a three-day window.
Oklahoma State and Oklahoma rescheduled their match up to February 25th. That means on Thursday the 25th the two teams will play in Stillwater and on Saturday the 27th, the two teams will meet up again in Norman.
That week will feature three games for both teams. Oklahoma State is also scheduled to play host Texas Tech on Tuesday, February 23rd and Oklahoma will also play that night on the road against Texas Tech.
Three games in a week is one of the options our Matthew Postins wrote about in recent days when discussing what the Big 12 might do with its schedulding. Postins said, “So what are the other strategies to get these games made up? It’s possible the league could try to find some unusual days to play. For instance, several Big 12 women’s games have been postponed, and some have been rescheduled. One, in fact, was rescheduled for a Sunday. That might be a hard sell for a league that plays its entire weekend slate on a Saturday. But, if you had a couple of teams that needed to make up a game and played either Monday or Tuesday at the start of the week, a Thursday make-up game is possible. I think the Big 12 will attempt to implement this strategy as much as it can.“
Other options that have been floated includes using the built-in buffer week and only playing the games that must be played to affect the standings.
