The Bob Cousy Award is given to the nation’s best point guard.
Butler is the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week after averaging 25 points and seven assists last week. He continued to solidify his credentials as a potential first-round NBA Draft pick and a Wooden Award contender, given to the nation’s best overall player.
Butler is averaging 17.1 points per game this season, has 76 assists and leads the Bears with 35 steals.
Along with the Big 12 Player of the Week Award, Butler was named the Naismith Trophy and NCAA National Player of the Week.
