Baylor Postpones Its Next Three Games, Including Back-to-Back vs. West Virginia

The Baylor Bears basketball program has announced it’s suspending its next three games. This comes less than a week after Baylor suspended two games this week.
Baylor is suspending games home against Texas Tech on Saturday, February 13th, at West Virginia on Monday, February 15th, and next Thursday at home against West Virginia.
According to a press release from Baylor, “The Big 12 Conference will work with the schools to reschedule postponed games at a later date. Fans with tickets to postponed Baylor home games can use those tickets for make-up games when contests are rescheduled.”
The Bears are ranked No. 2 in the country and are 17-0 and 9-0 in Big 12 play, but have had to postpone or cancel a numbers of games this season due to COVID-19.
The last time the Bears were on the court was last week when they beat the Texas Longhorns.
The Big 12 Conference has built in a buffer week between the end of the regular season and the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City. However, at this point it is fair to wonder whether or not it is worth playing the Big 12 Tournament, in order to protect the NCAA Tournament.
