West Virginia starting cornerback Dreshun Miller has entered the NCAA transfer portal following his junior season with the Mountaineers.
Dreshun Miller made the announcement on his Twitter account on Thursday.
Dreshun Miller started his career at the Junior College level with Eastern Arizona College from 2017-2018. Miller then transferred to West Virginia, where he suffered a knee injury that forced him to redshirt during the 2019 season. In 2020, he was productive as a starter. Miller recorded 31 tackles, eight pass deflections, and one interception last season.
According to websites tied to the Georgia Bulldogs, Miller will immediately linked to their program because they need cornerback help and recently hired former West Virginia defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae to same position. Additionally, Miller was born in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Just last week, West Virginia lost two offensive linemen to the transfer portal.
The Mountaineers defense was the strongest unit on the team. WVU reached and won the Liberty Bowl in Neal Brown’s second year in Morgantown.
