With the snow and ice pounding much of Big 12 country this weekend into the early part of this week, the Big 12 men’s basketball schedule has been impacted.
TCU vs. Texas Tech were scheduled to play each other in a back-to-back on Monday, February 15th and Wednesday, February 17th. The Big 12 Conference announced it has moved each game back one day. So the Horned Frogs will host the Red Raiders on Tuesday night and then the Red Raiders will host the Horned Frogs on Thursday night.
This is just the latest wrinkle in a season that is seeing games moved around and schedules tweaked due to COVID-19. Texas Tech last played on Tuesday night in a loss to West Virginia and then their scheduled game against Baylor on Saturday was postponed due to Baylor’s ongoing issues with COVID.
Meantime, TCU has had four games postponed due to COVID issues. The Horned Frogs have lost six of eight and are coming off a loss to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday.
