AP Poll: Half the Big 12 Ranked in Top 15

NCAA Basketball: Oklahoma State at Texas Tech

The Big 12 Conference continues to showcase its depth in the weekly AP Poll rankings with one of its most impressive performances to date. The Conference has five teams ranked in the Top 15, which is half of the conference.

The Baylor Bears, who haven’t played in two weeks due to COVID-19 remains ranked in the No. 2 spot. Meantime, the Oklahoma Sooners are into the Top 10 at No. 9 after a strong week that saw them take over the top spot in our Big 12 basketball power rankings.

Then it’s a crowded middle of the pack with Texas coming in at No. 12, West Virginia at No. 13 and Texas Tech rounding out the Top 15. Also of note, the Kansas Jayhawks jumped back into the Top 25 after they were out of the rankings for the first time in over 10 years last week.

Also of note, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are just on the outside looking in, receiving the most votes of any team not ranked in the Top 25 this week.
