Oklahoma WR Trevon West Enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Oklahoma wide receiver Trevon West has entered the NCAA Transfer portal.
West played in eight games as a true freshman during the 2020 season, with four catches for a total of 59 yards, which all came during the Sooners’ season opener against Missouri State.
The former three-star prospect from Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas. According to 247Sports, he was ranked as the No. 107 overall wide receiver in the 2020 recruiting cycle, and he was ranked as the No. 88 overall player from Texas in his cycle at the time of signing.
Oklahoma never has a shortage of talent at wide receiver and that won’t be the case in 2021, when Marvin Mims will return as the likely No. 1 target. And the offense in general should be just fine with Heisman favorite Spencer Rattler heading into his sophomore season.
This is the third offseason the NCAA transfer portal has been around. Players do not need to ask permission from their coaching staff in order to transfer, however schools do not need to hold their scholarship.
