2022 Five-Star WR Kevin Coleman Praises Steve Sarkisian and New Staff

Days after landing a top ten wide receiver in the Class of 2022 in Evan Stewart from Frisco, TX, Steve Sarkisian may be trending towards landing another stud wide out.
On Saturday, the crew at The Football Brainiacs interviewed five-star wide receiver Kevin Coleman who said about the Texas Longhorns, “Coach Sark is a good guy. I think he’s one of the best to go down as offensive coordinator… Coach Sark is a cool guy, he’s a guy you can talk to every day. He’s not just going to talk to you about recruitment, he’s going to talk to you about your daily life, check in on your. I like the receivers coach, coach Coleman.”
According to his 247Sports profile, Coleman is listed as the No. 1 prospect in Missouri, No. 3 wide receiver prospect in the country and the No. 18 overall recruit in America. He’s 5’11”, 170 pounds and also has interest from the usual top suspects, with Alabama, USC, Arizona State and Florida at the top of the list.
The most recent 247Sports recruiting rankings has the Texas Longhorns ranked with the No. 5 class in the country in 2022, behind Ohio State, Georgia, LSU and Penn State, and one spot ahead of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Steve Sarkisian‘s recruiting chops and the quality coaching staff he put together is already reaping rewards for 2022 and Coleman would be an enormous addition to the class if he can pull it off.
