Texas Longhorns Named Finalist for Five-Star CB Denver Harris
Steve Sarkisian continues to show off his recruiting chops and he might be on the verge of adding an incredible piece to an already impressive Class of 2022.
On Sunday, five-star cornerback Denver Harris named the Texas Longhorns in his Top 4, along with LSU, Texas A&M and Alabama.
Harris is listed by 247Sports as a five-star prospect who is the No. 3 cornerback in the nation, No. 2 prospect in Texas and a No. 6 recruit nationally. Denver attends North Shore in Houston, Texas.
This news comes days after Texas landed a top ten wide receiver in the Class of 2022 in Evan Stewart from Frisco, TX.
Also this weekend, five-star wide receiver Kevin Coleman had high praise for Steve Sarkisian and the Texas coaching staff.
The most recent 247Sports recruiting rankings has the Texas Longhorns ranked with the No. 5 class in the country in 2022, behind Ohio State, Georgia, LSU and Penn State, and one spot ahead of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Steve Sarkisian‘s recruiting chops and the quality coaching staff he put together is already reaping rewards for 2022 and Denver Harris would be an enormous addition to the class if he can pull it off.
