Kansas State Spring Football Schedule Released

NCAA Football: Texas Christian at Kansas State

The Kansas State Wildcats officially have plans for the 2021 spring football season.

Kansas State will begin spring practice on March 3rd with the final practice taking place about one month later, on either April 2nd or 3rd, according to Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star.

Under Chris Klieman, Kansas State hasn’t done the traditional “spring game” that has become more and more popular amongst fans. Instead, expect a practice to be open to the public towards the end of spring practice.

The Kansas State football schedule was released in the last several days as they try to bounce back from a disappointing end to the 2020 campaign. The highlight of the season came when the Wildcats beat the Oklahoma Sooners for a second-straight season.

After a 4-0 start in Big 12 play, the Wildcats finished the season with five-straight losses, and ended with an embarrassing 69-31 loss to the Texas Longhorns.

The good news is the Wildcats are welcoming back their senior quarterback Skylar Thompson, who decided to use the extra year of eligibility given to him thanks to the NCAA’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kansas State opens the 2021 season against Stanford in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
