Baylor Bears

Chris Beard, Scott Drew Have Best Odds to be Next Indiana Head Coach

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-West Regional-Gonzaga vs Texas Tech

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are gearing up for the NCAA Tournament this weekend, but there is an ominous cloud lingering around the fan base right now.

Tech takes on Utah State on Friday, but fans might be keeping an eye on the state of Indiana, beyond the fact that the game itself is being played there. That’s because according to BetOnline.ag, Texas Tech head coach Chris Beard is the betting favorite to be the next head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers, who fired Archie Miller earlier this week.

Also on the list is Baylor head coach Scott Drew. The Bears are taking on Hartford on Friday, but Drew got the second-best odds on the entire list. This is not what Big 12 basketball fans want to see as the conference is as deep as its ever been, with 70% of its teams making the NCAA Tournament. And these two coaches are a big reason why.

Here’s the full list.
