Dana Holgorsen Takes Shot at Baylor With this Tweet
Dana Holgorsen and the Houston Cougars had their football game cancelled last year due to COVID-19 issues.
But now, after Baylor reached the Final Four on Monday night beating Arkansas, the Bears will take on the Houston Cougars in the National Championship semifinals this weekend.
And with these two teams finally set to face off, Houston football coach Dana Holgorsen chimed in with a dig at Baylor, posting this photo of the Houston football team bus outside of McLane Stadium in Waco, writing “Six months later… we still want Baylor!!!”
Last year, the reports were that Baylor could not play the game due to contact tracing, which caused some controversy and questioning on Houston’s side at the time.
It reads to me like Dana Holgorsen is going all “keyboard warrior” on us. The reality is, Coach Holgorsen could face Baylor every single year, if he wanted to. How, you ask? How about not leaving the Big 12 Conference for the AAC.
